Please join us in celebrating the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with two free morning workshops and a free community luncheon.

Adult Workshops

MLK Community Build: Talk. Question. Do.

The books are almost here and the community building has begun. Join us as community members read excerpts from the special MLK Community Build Edition of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s last book Where Do We Go From Here: Chaos or Community? Participants will discuss these excerpts, get to know each other, and plan specific next steps we can take to build a socially just and sustainable community. Education without social action is a one-sided value because it has no true power potential. Social action without education is a weak expression of pure energy. --King (1967)
